This Peer Learning Group is catered to support companies working on and implementing more advanced climate strategies and who are seeking a network to discuss challenges and solutions relating to a net-zero transition and decarbonisation. Discussed topics include: science-based target setting, data collection, nature-based solutions, internal & external stakeholder engagement, climate reporting, scenario planning, just transition.


Peer Learning in a nutshell


This eight-month programme runs from March to November 2025, offering participants a structured blend of online and in-person sessions. Designed to foster peer learning and collaboration, it brings together representatives from 10–15 companies, with each company sending one or two participants.


The format


  • 10 to 15 participating companies, each represented by 1 or 2 employees.
  • 6 Sessions: 1 online introduction, 4 in-person sessions and 1 closing and reflection session based on Chatham House Rules.
  • The programme will be conducted in English unless all participants prefer Dutch.


Key dates


  • 3 March 2025: Co-Lead onboarding session.
  • 18 March 2025: Welcome session.
  • Between April and October 2025, participants will engage in Peer Learning Sessions, featuring four in-person meetings.
  • The programme concludes in October/November 2025 with a closing and reflection session.
1. Exchange best practices and challenges

with peers from across industries on themes of your interest in a confidential, constructive, and educational environment that encourages to deepen your understanding.

2. Increase your visibility

on practices in relevant areas towards peers by participating in peer learning group discussions and presentations.

3. Establish yourself as an ambassador

within the UN Global Compact NL on your chosen topic, which can lead to speaking opportunities at our events, programmes, and global/regional platforms.
