In 2024, 20+ professionals from 11 companies came together for five sessions as part of a Peer Learning Group focused on Human Rights. These sessions provided a safe and open space for participants to discuss both the challenges and best practices related to human right due diligence within their organizations. Topics ranged widely, from the evolving legislative landscape and setting targets to remedy and grievance mechanisms. This brief report captures the key takeaways and resources shared throughout these discussions, offering insights to support ongoing human rights efforts.
In the report you'll find some guidance on implementing human rights due diligence within organizations. It begins by outlining the legislative landscape, providing an understanding of the legal requirements and frameworks that shape this critical area. From there, it presents a curated list of assessment tools designed to support organizations at every stage of their journey, whether they are just starting to address human rights due diligence or are looking to refine and advance their existing practices.
This Peer Learning Group was co-led by Arcadis, Deloitte & Invest-NL. The participating companies were Alfen, Corbion, ERM, IKEA, NN Group, PF Concept, Philips en TenneT.
