Companies that place sustainability at the heart of their strategy reap numerous rewards. This was beautifully showcased on October 10, Sustainability Day, during an inspiring event in The Hague. In collaboration with VNO-NCW and MKB-Nederland, we organized a day full of insights, practical tips, and real-life examples, with sustainability in all its forms taking center stage—from climate goals to gender equality.

With a keynote by Paul Polman, the presentation of the Positive Impact Report by Dyade, and a lively panel discussion with entrepreneurs from the UN Global Compact NL network, led by moderator Harm Edens, there was no shortage of inspiration for a wide audience. Entrepreneurs, industry associations, NGOs, and policymakers immersed themselves in sessions on circular business practices, translating climate ambitions into action, and creating employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

Green start-ups also made a strong impression by pitching their innovative ideas, creating immediate new opportunities. Additionally, the information market and the unique Sign Language Coffee Bar—staffed by people with hearing impairments—offered a special space for connection and engagement.
